The Jet wood lathe also has a wide， cast-iron bed that provides stable support while you work. Variable speed ranges of 200 to 1050， 300 to 1750 and 600 to 3600 RPM， as well as 24-position indexing， offer plenty of control over lathe operation， and a live center tail ensures smooth operation. This Jet variable-speed lathe also features an improved tensioning system for fast access to the drive belts， so maintenance is simple. The tool’s swing over the bed is 10 inches， and its swing over the tool rest is 7-5/16 inches. Its spindle bore is 3/8 of an inch， and both spindle and quill are number 2 Morse tapers.
